SNC-Lavalin Nuclear’s Role:
4 x 700 MWe CANDU reactors were built in South Korea. Units 2,3 and 4 were completed in 1999. SNC-Lavalin Nuclear was responsible for the civil and structural design of the site and buildings, the nuclear and non-nuclear systems outside the containment structure (BNSP) and the turbine building and systems (BOP). SNC-Lavalin Nuclear was also responsible for the construction management and the supply of equipment for the plant.
